Ken Frost has asked me to point out that he has had no reply to his letter to you dated 28th February, 2008, a copy of which I enclose. Could I ask, in the absence of his own MP, that you reply to him directly at ***.

Yours sincerely,

Thats very helpful. What is the BJ view of an Arena though? Any chance of him getting the local tories to drop the Arena scheme?

Or is BJ sitting on the fence??

A very good question.

I have asked, and am awaiting an answer.

If I get one, I will post it.

I noted in the Advertiser that the only real defence the Council leader made of the Arena was that they were contractually obliged to Arrowcroft.

Not quite the ringing endorsement of an Arena that the Croydon Cabinet member for Regeneration (Mr Pollard)extols.

With only 14 weeks to the final date of the result of the public inquiry why cant the council come clean and admit the Arena is a white elephant, the credit crunch means it will never get financed

Meanwhile in reality the Warehouse Theatre is in real trouble financially and the Fairfield is going to be in a similar state quite soon.

The Council may well find itself without an Arena, Without a Warehouse Theatre and without a Fairfield.

What sense would that make?
